The Lucado Inspirational Reader by: Max Lucado {Book Review}

I received this complimentary copy from the  BookSneeze review program. I love Max Lucado…always have! Over many years my mother has accumulated almost all of his books, many I have read! While visiting her home with my family I told her that I would love to take all the Max Lucado books and read them! I am a fairly quick reader, but there is no way that I would be able to read all these wonderful books…then came The Lucado Inspirational Reader!! It is a wonderful book!! This collection is fantastic for busy moms that may only have a few free minutes each day. As a mom of 3, I am constantly going. I rarely sit down!! But no matter where I am, I can pick up this reader and get a short & encouraging word within 5 minutes or less.

The other night I was unable to sleep. I was kept awake with thoughts of a dear friend who was having surgery the next morning. I knew my friend was afraid, although the surgery was going to be routine other health concerns posed a issue thus putting my friend at high risk. I wanted to send some kind of encouraging words, knowing that although last my friends was for sure still awake. I decided to read the section “Encouragement” I was in tears within 5 minutes. I picked up the book to find the right thing to say to my friend {which I did} but the Lord had more planned! I was given the encouragement that I needed. I had be struggling emotional that night and the Lord spoke to me through Max and showed me that HE is always there no matter where, no matter when! Including the section of encouragement there are 27 different sections. You can read this book from front to back or you can read the section that you are personally needing at that time. Either way you will be blessed and encouraged!

With Christmas coming so quickly, this would make an awesome gift!!

I highly recommend it to anyone especially to busy moms like me who do not think they have time to read. I love the size of this book, it easily fits in my purse!

I have never had the opportunity to attend Women of Faith...every year I'm invited and would love to go...but something always comes up...like the fact that I was 37 weeks pregnant with my twins and could sit or stand for very long, the next year was out of town, This year? Who knows, my mom and I might try to go for at least the Saturday session! Because of this, I was thrilled to get Women of Faith Worship: Rejoice CD! There are some days that just need good worship music! I completely love the Rejoice CD! The music is amazing and uplifting! My kids love dancing around to it, even if it is a slow song they still rock out!

I was having a down day, it was rainy and gloomy and I felt like no matter how many things I did, nothing would get done. The Rejoice CD was in the mail that day. I put the Rejoice CD in and went about my cleaning like before, I was shocked when it was 45 minute later and everything had been cleaned, I was so engrossed in the great worship music that I didn't even realize how much I had gotten done!

We also ofter play the Rejoice CD during dinner...softly! The kids love it!

I would recommend Rejoice CD to anyone! Man or Woman, My husband enjoyed it as well! I love every single song on the Rejoice CD especially track 02 - "SO GOOD"...it's so good!! :) haha! I promise you will not be disappointed with this!

My Thoughts...
If you love art and creating things, The Elemental Journal is 100% for you!! This BEAUTIFUL book show you how to create journals from things many of us might consider trash! I completely love this book, this is truly my idea of art! I love recycling something that maybe is rusted and no longer being used, into something that is a centerpeice! There are a number of projects out of the book that I am working on for both Father's Day for my Husband, and Mother's Day for my Mom!
It's really for everyone...
The instructions are good enough to help you adequately reproduce any of the journals, but because of the style of the work, it gives room to add your very own creativity and individuality! My 6 year old son loves creating things...gee I wonder where that came from?? :) He already love the book as well! The Elemental Journal would be a FANTASTIC gift for Mother's Day, Graduation, a Birthday, or in my case just for a friend you know would love it...Kenz and Jenny;) However, I am not letting my copy go!!!
