How I roll...

I'm Mommy....

and this is how I roll...

I've gone through more 60 hours of hard-painful-no med labor (E)

I've had a c-section (S&G)

I've had 5 missed spinal taps before it worked

I've been peed on

I've been pooped on

I've been puked on

I've held screaming twins until they fell asleep

I've carried three kids to bed...at the same time

I've rocked all my babies to sleep

I've stayed up taking care of one or more sick babies

I've had toys thrown at me

I've had food thrown at me

I've rushed to the doctor's office with a child that needed stitches

I've called poison control

I've breastfed for the last 5 years

I've gone days without a shower

I've taking care of 3 little children, while having the flu

and.....

I've loved everyday of it! I am MOMMY!

For the last almost 6 years I have been called mama! I wouldn't change it for anything!!

"hey mommy..."

A Early Mother's day gift...
"Mommy, is it lunch time?" I hear from the Kitchen. "just about" I call back to my little boy, who I can hear is getting into the kitchen cabinets..again. This has been going on since he could stand, always rummaging around anything at his level. "Mommy" I hear again. "Yes, Elias" I reply. His little voice again "do you like peanut butter?" me again "Yeah Elias...why?". Rummaging again...I am thinking to my-self, 'great another mess to clean up, this has already been such a draining day...ugh'. I hear the pounding of little feet, and giggling...hmmmm! Elias bursts into the living room, where I am holding 2 VERY fussy babies. Elias squeals "Look Mommy, I made you lunch!!!" there my sweet little angel stands, holding a plate with a peanut butter sandwich on it, HUGE smile on his sweet little face!! This was enough to make my heart melt, he knew that mommy had a headache and he wanted to help me relax...and he did!

There truly is nothing like being a mommy!

Do you work or stay at home? If work what do you do?
I'm a SAHM! However, My husband and I have a Photography Business & I make and sell hair accessories!


What is your favorite thing to do with your kids?

Oh my, Just about anything, Playing at the park, playing baseball, watching their favorite shows...the list goes on & on! Just being with them makes my day!!!



What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

I was born in Texas, raised in Kansas & I am the youngest of 9 kids, my siblings are 21. 18, 16, 14, 10, 7, 6, & 4 years older!


What is the most annoying question you have been asked
about your twins?

Ugh..If they are IVF. If they are twins or just close in age are the top ones.


Do you have insecurities about being a mom?

Sometimes, I am homeschooling and sometimes that fear of "can I really do this"...But then my son does something that makes me KNOW that I can!!


What do you do when you get overwhelmed?

Talk and Cry to my fantastic husband, who is a great listener!


What books, or other resources helped you in raising your
twins?
Books...none, I felt they are we so focused on women who were older have twins and IVF twin. My sister and Cousin both have twins, and I joined a mom's of multiples group!


What's been the most challenging time in your life?

There have some hard times...I guess the last few years, not because of my husband or kids, but because of others who wanted to tear our life apart and didn't care who was hurt in the process.


What is your favorite comfort food?

Mexican & anything Chocolate!


What is your self admitted most annoying habit?
Talking


What would a perfect day look like?
Waking up at 8am & spending the entire day with my hubby and kiddos outside just playing and having fun as a family...maybe throw a Seahawks game in there!!
