ALSNS Review - Baltic Amber Necklace

Featuring:

Well, its here...the dreaded Teething Monster!!! I have not 1, not 2, but 3 teething children. The twins of course are getting teeth like crazy, and have horrible moods to prove it. And Elias...Poor Elias is getting his molars, and what looks like his wisdom teeth, and he has been so miserable. So I have 3 little people who have swollen gums, want to chew or gnaw on EVERYTHING, and are sad because of all the pain. I HATE teething...
I'm so excited!! Inspired by Finn has sent me an awesome Baltic Amber Necklace for my kiddos to help with teething! I have a few friends who have used them (who love them) and I have heard great things! Not only did Inspired by Finn send me a Necklace, they have also graciously offered to give 1 lucky winner any sigle in stock item up to 16 inches or smaller!

It had been a rough morning...with Si especially. His gums were so swollen, and he was clearly in pain, gnawing on anything he could get in his mouth. After about 2 hours of trying the twins were finally taking a nap! While I was sitting with Elias I noticed how swollen his back gums were...I asked him about them and he told me "they hurt REALLY bad Mommy". I felt horrible for my boys. Later in the afternoon I got my package from Inspired by Finn!!! I was so excited! The twins were still sleeping, so I decided to try out the Baltic amber necklace on Elias. I put it on him and let him play. After a while HE told me that his mouth wasn't hurting like it had been! I was so happy that he was finally feeling better! He had also been saying he had a headache, but after a little bit of wearing the necklace, the headache was gone!!

Simon was up next! Before wearing the necklace he was VERY whinny, crying A LOT, chewing on anything and everything...I was feeling horrible, because he was feeling horrible. Around 2pm I put the necklace on him. My Husband got home from work around 3ish and I realized that Simon had been in an AWESOME mood, not gnawing...just happy! He was happy until he went to bed that night!!

Lastly my Little Gabbi got her chance with the necklace. Poor Gabbi started cutting teeth around 6 months old. She has already started cutting molars...it's been SOOOOO bad. She has been chewing and biting everything. She really likes to chew on a tooth brush, that way she can get relief from the Molar pain. I notice the necklace working the quickest with her. NO gnawing for relief of those molars.

All in all, I love the Baltic Amber Necklace! I will for sure be getting 2 more...so they don't have to share. It is so awesome to see my little ones have relief from there teething pain and to just be...well...HAPPY!!
*note: While wearing a piece or two of Baltic amber jewelry may not cure all that may ail you, it has been a proven benefit to many!
What You Need to Know about Baltic Amber:
Baltic Amber helps with teething pain!!

Baltic Amber has some of the highest concentrations of Succinic Acid found in nature, and this is what makes it so special.
When Baltic amber is worn on the skin, the skin’s warmth releases trace amounts of healing oils from the amber. These oils contain succinic acid and are absorbed into the skin.
Baltic Amber has some of the highest concentrations of Succinic Acid found in nature, and this is what makes it so special. Succinic Acid is a natural component of plant and animal tissues, and it's presence in the human body is beneficial in many ways.
How can Baltic Amber help us?:

Pain Relief -

Baltic amber contains analgesic properties and helps take the edge off of many types of discomfort associated with dental issues, headaches, joint pain, etc.

Strengthens the body's immune system -

In many different and subtle ways, succinic acid helps boost the body's own natural healing ability and immune system.

Restoring Energy –

The human body naturally produces succinic acid. The salt of succinic acid (succinate) is one of the most active substances in the processes of cellular respiration and intercellular energy creation. Succinic acid restores oxygen and energy supply to depleted cells and helps the body return to a normal, functioning state.
Succinate is a raw material and a catalyst in the Krebs Cycle which is one of our main sources of energy. During the Krebs Cycle carbohydrates, fats, and proteins are metabolized for energy.

Maintaining Wellness -

When the human body reacts to stress, the body’s cells begin to use oxygen more quickly. Oxygen plays a central role in the intercellular creation of energy, and a lack of oxygen can result in feeling lethargic.
Oxygen is alkaline-forming in the blood and maintaining a slightly alkaline blood ph helps keep us healthy. Whenever the body functions in a state of low oxygen, it is much more susceptible to illness.

To help break a cycle of (chronic) inflammation -

Where chronic inflammation is present, disease lurks.
When the body’s cells are chronically inflamed the human body’s immune system response is to increase production of free radicals. Chronic overproduction of free radicals results in inflammatory-related disease. Chronic inflammation is a common denominator of many seemingly unrelated diseases.
While wearing a piece or two of Baltic amber jewelry may not cure all that may ail you, it has been a proven benefit to many!

Homeschooling: Kindergarten - 1st grade - 2nd grade year has started!!!

We homeschool!! We LOVE it!

I LOVE flashcard! We can take these anywhere!! E loves them too!

alilsugarnspice@gmail.com

Please Email with any questions about the books or flash cards I have posted today!

The many books I have added E's homeschool curriculum!!
Since the Public school year has begun, people are always asking Elias if he has started school. He always replies "Yes!! I am homeschooled by my Mommy". Oh, the looks we get. Sometimes they smile, but other times....Ahhhh, not so much. The other day I ran into another Homeschooling Mama, and she asked "what curriculum are you using?" I don't think she liked my response, but thats ok. We all have to do what is right for our own children.
We officially started the school year on August 1st! I has been going great! Elias is so eager to learn. Before we began I hoped that we would do 45 minutes of work at a time with a 15 minute break between each activity. I didn't want to overload him and them him end up dreading school. Much to my surprise we spend a average of 2 hours at a time on each subject (different ones each day...a max of 4) I couldn't have asked for a better little student! This year I decided to combine Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grades. Now, a month later our main focus seems to be more at the 1st-3rd levels!!!
Some of the things we have been learning:
reading,
addition,
subtraction,
the pledge of allegiance,
homonyms,
states and capitals (not all of course),
the planets
Still to come for the Fall season:
Thanksgiving, a one month study of Native Americans, for this we will focus on the Choctaw and Black Foot tribes (I am 1/16 Choctaw).
We will also do all kinds of fun activities dealing with:
Mammals,
Weather,
Seasons, and
Christmas...the Birth of Jesus, and what Christmas is all about.
Outside of the "regular" subjects, we will be working on:
Manners,
Respect,
Honesty,
Building Character,
Loving Family, and
Bible Study!
I made the decision early on that I would put together our curriculum, piece by piece! Over the last few months, and have put together what I believe to be a awesome school year plan!
