Review - TheraBreath

Featuring:
TheraBreath Whitening Review

Mmmmmm a Hot Peppermint Mocha would be great right about now, or maybe some Tea! Hot or Cold it is truly one of my favorite year round drinks! I love coffee and tea...and...my teeth are starting to pay for it.

Somewhere along the way my Pearly Whites started looking a little less Pearly White.

When TheraBreath contacted me about doing a Review on some of there products I was thrilled...when they said I could pick what products to try I was so excited! I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to review : The TheraBrite PLUS whitening system!!

About TheraBrite PLUS Whitening System:
The TheraBrite PLUS whitening system is the most effective home whitening available. The Thermoplastic mouthguards mold to the contours of your teeth and gums, while the 21%+ carbamide peroxide gel delivers the fastest home whitening available. Have a whiter, brighter smile in just 5 days.

Each Kit Contains:
3 moldable Thermoplastic mouth trays, 3 whitening syringes(3ml each), plastic case, small brush, 3 rolls of ZOX. Each syringe contains 3ml of 21% carbamida whitening formula.
This is one of the strongest safe concentrations available for home whitening. This means you will notice results in a shorter period of time. The non-glycerin based solution means reduced sensitivity. Some people may still notice some sensitivity - this will go away within 24 hours.

After whitening, you may notice slight slight discoloration of your gums - this is also normal and will also go away within a few hours.
The tighter fitting you can make your mouthguards, the better - so be sure to spend some time making the mouthguards correctly before you begin.

How To Use This Product:
After making your Thermoplastic moldable trays, simply apply a small amount of the whitening gel into the mouthguards, and bite down. Allow the gel to stay in contact with your teeth for at least 1 hour per application (up to 5-8 hours if you prefer).
After 4-5 applications, you will have a distinctly whiter and brighter smile!- DR. HAROLD KATZ

Let me tell you a little bit about my experience with The TheraBrite PLUS whitening system. When my TheraBrite PLUS whitening system arrived I was very eager to get started...maybe a little too eager. Each kit comes with 3 whitening syringes, plastic case, small brush, 3 rolls of ZOX & 3 moldable Thermoplastic mouth trays,(you know the kind you boil, then press and bite to make it fit your teeth exactly.) The mouth trays each have a tab to hold while submerged in the in the boiling water...I didn't realize that and accidentally melted not one, but all three mouth trays...oops! TheraBreath was awesome and sent me a new package of trays that I received with in 48 hours! This time I boiled the tray correctly and it came out perfect!! Yay!!

That night after our kids went to bed I did my first treatment. In the directions it says to keep it on for 1-4 hours. I don't have the time to keep it on for 4 hours though...I wondered if 1 hour would be enough. Let me tell you, 1 hour was amazing. I was actually quite shocked after I took off the tray and brushed my teeth and looked in the mirror. WOW! Huge difference! My husband noticed as soon as I came out of the bathroom..."Your teeth look so white! They look beautiful"

My Pros and Cons...

Cons:
  • The Whitening Treatment tastes horrible
  • The Whitening Treatment burns if it is on your gums for too long

To thwart these cons I started using to Whitening trays in the shower, that way if some of the treatment seep out into my mouth I could just spit it out. Also using the kit in the shower stopped two little toddler from trying to pull them out of my mouth:)

Pros:

  • Very fast acting! I would always try to wear the trays for about a hour, but life can get hectic and there were times when I could only do about 25 minutes...but it worked! I have used 1 1/2 syringes of treatment and my teeth look beautiful.

  • Everything comes in a small compact box. I like this because I can easily put it somewhere so my little ones can't get it.

  • The trays are flex able and very form fitting. This is nice because it doesn't feel like to have some huge foreign object in your mouth.

So after 2 weeks of using the TheraBrite PLUS Whitening System, I have to say that I am truly pleased! My Teeth look beautiful!

The Gabby Mom's - January Mission: True Treasures

myspace layouts
THE GABBY MOMS
We Gab * We Giggle * We Glitter
Are you familiar with Lorrie Flem and TEACH Magazine (now called Eternal Encouragement)? If you are homeschooling you will want to!! A few years ago a wonderful friend shared Lorrie with me and I have been hooked ever since.  This year I have been given the opportunity to be part of her new The Gabby Moms, I'm so thrilled to be apart of this amazing group of women! My "mission" this January is to share a new book she's published will all my friends.

True Treasures is an amazing collection of the best of the best articles from the last ten years of TEACH Magazine on topics relating to homemaking, moms, marriage and parenting.

"By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; Through knowledge it's rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures." Proverbs 24: 3-4

True Treasures is divided into 6 sections, each one full of inspiring ideas, wisdom from the hearts of women, and encouragement to help you be a better wife, mother, and homemaker.

• Jewels That Make the Heart Sparkle
• Marriages Made of Solid Gold
• Parenting Pearls: Practical and Priceless
• Homemaking That Dazzles Like Diamonds
• Homeschooling Nuggets of Wisdom
• Godly Living That Glitters

Weather you have 5 minutes or two hours, you can benefit from the wonderful encouragement that True Treasures has to offer: such as devotional thoughts, practical tips, encouragement, and inspiration on every page. Every time I picked up the book I was drawn to the marriage and parenting sections. It was wonderful to read and know that their are other Mom's and Wives going through the same things as I am going through!

While reading in the section Parenting Pearls: Practical and Priceless, I found my self laughing out loud (I will be adding the whining chair from page 57) In Addition I was also really convicted. This caused me to step back and look at my parenting thus far.

As a child, I had a dream. My true hearts desire was to become a Wife to a wonderful man...who I was sure would be Jordan from New Kids on the Block! In addition I wanted have Children and stay at home with them and homeschooling them, just like my mother stayed home and homeschooled me. I didn't know what the Lord had planned for me, but I knew that that was who I was going to be, a wonderful wife, the best mother, and a great teacher.

Fast forward 20+ years…

Earlier this month my oldest son turned 6. He is a wonderful little boy. Now, he's 6. With this 'new' big boy age there have been a lot new things, losing more teeth, eating more...and...More attitude. Suddenly he is 16, I don't know what has happened, have I done something wrong? He started complaining about everything, bickering with his younger siblings, and testing every single boundary about 6 months ago.  Bedtime became an unglued mess. I feel like I am losing my patience, I hate yelling but I do, I dislike the kind of Mommy I fear I am becoming.

While seeking the Lord things have become very clear. The Lord has showed me that I have been spending so much time trying to 'Change' my 6 year old that I have lost sight of the fact that I need to be the one to change. How can I raise a Christian man, when I am totally unglued? Which became abundantly apparent when I over heard my Children playing together. It was like a ton of bricks on my shoulders, Elias was acting like me. My Heart sunk, 'is this really who I have become?' I thought to my self. After spending some much needed time with the Lord, I found my boy and had a much needed talk. I apologized to my precious little boy. How was he supposed to meet these expectation set before him when I wasn't doing my job and guiding him? Actions truly do speak louder than words don't them?

While Seeking the Lord, I asked to him to show me where I need to change and boy did he! Spending more time with Jesus was a big lesson I had to learn. I'll be honest, life gets hectic with kids crying, yelling, asking for this, asking for that. Unfortunately, it's me who gets lost, my relationship with Jesus gets put on hold. And, for what? So I can lose my patience? I know that is NOT what God wants.

Jesus is working me and doing some really amazing things. I prayed for the Lord to change me. Before, I was praying like this "Lord, what have I done, why have things be so hard, please help things get better. Amen." While reading in Philippians something stuck out at me. 'am I praying for the right things?'

Philippians 4:6 tells us: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

Over the past few months my prayers have become more like this " Lord, please help me train my children in a way that is pleasing to you, guide me to be the Mother you want me to be. Please, Lord help me also become the wife that you created me to be..."

Proverbs 2:6 reads: "For the LORD gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding."

My life is never too hectic to spend time with my heavenly Father. I have a fire inside me for the Lord that I have not had in quite sometime and it feels WONDERFUL! I have been so surprised that the amount of patience I have acquired through the Lord.  Like today for instance, standing in the middle of my Living Room, I look around and think to myself, 'it looks like I run an in home daycare with 30 kids.' I'm not mad or upset; I just laugh and thank God for the wonderful gift of getting to spend everyday with my wonderful Children. The sit down on the floor and play too!

Proverbs 24:3-4 "By wisdom a house is built,
and through understanding it is established;
through knowledge its rooms are filled
with rare and beautiful treasures."

Living everyday with joy and happiness has left my children living everyday with joy and happiness. Being a mommy is more that just talking at your children, being a mother is guiding your children in more than just word but by actions! My son sees me spending time with the Lord everyday, because of this he spends his own time with Lord, praying for friends and family! He recently was drawing and so excited to show me what he had drawn. "It me mommy, and that is Jesus living in my heart!" With tears in my eyes and warmth in my heart I gave my little guy a squeeze!

Psalm 118:24 "The LORD has done it this very day;
let us rejoice today and be glad. "

Read Excerpts from True Treasures HERE!

At the end of the Parenting section there is a page entitled 'Bible verses to Pray for your children' (page 53) No matter how many times I opened the book, with out fail I found my self on that page, reading the verses over and over. These verses are what encouraged and pushed me into this 'art' project!
Elias age 6
Simon age 16 months
Gabbi age 16 months

I made a these photos of my children and added a bible verse to each. These photos will be displayed over our bed in our master bedroom. A bright reminder that these three little people are a wonderful gift, given from the Most High.

"But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children" Psalm 103:17

Oh my goodness!! I almost forgot to mention 'Yippee it's STILL Free!' (page 85)

Yippee it's STILL Free is one of the longest running columns from TEACH. In the beginning it contained addresses and phone numbers of companies with free Homemaking and Homeschooling help. Now with the amazing technology we have at our fingertips it is chock full of fantastic websites full of Freebies!!

I completely love gardenofprasie.com - themathworksheetsite.com & letteroftheweek.com they have tons of great printables that my son loves! Our family LOVES pandora.com I think we probably have 10 stations we have created for every changing mood!! There are honestly so many sites listed that I have only visit 2/3 of them!!

True Treasures is a wonderful resource for everyone, weather you be brand new mom to the most seasoned homemaker such as my Mom who was encouraged by the word in the book and wished she had it when all nine of us where still at home. Then there's me! I have been married for nearly 10 years, a mama for 6 (to my 6 year old son and my 16 month old boy/girl twins), and homeschooling since birth...but structured for 4, and I found encouragement on every page. Crazy Wild Week - PART I

About two weeks ago I made the mistake of not closing my bedroom door. This wouldn't be such a big deal if we didn't have a bathroom in our Master Bedroom.

Yup...you guessed, the twins were in the bathroom throwing things in the toilet...UGH! After I removed them, which they were NOT happy about, I went to check the damage. They had dropped a glass Jewelry box in the toilet, and it broke allowing the metal bangle bracelets to fall out. Sooooo, I fished out everything...so I thought. EVERY time we flushed the toilet it would over flow. We knew there must still be something in the toilet. 'OUT OF ORDER' until we bought a new wax seal and my husband checked out...Yeah, but Tuesday night I forgot. It wasn't until the toilet almost over flowed that I remembered 'OH MAN!!' However, it didn't over flow!! It was about a inch from the the top...whoo hoo, dodged a bullet there! I turned around and headed to the living room to play with my children. Ten minutes later..."Do you hear that? I think the toilet is running" my husband said. "NOOOOOO!!!" I yelled as a ran back to our bedroom to find...2 inches of standing water, not only in our bathroom but half our bedroom. It was a mess and the water was ice cold! After turning off the water my husband ran a got our wet dry vac and I got the carpet cleaner, in hopes that they would suck up the water. Three longs hours later...SQUISH, SLOSH, SPLAT...still soaking wet. Oh, did I mention that the water leaked into our downstairs, but thankfully that was a rather quick dry up! Meanwhile, it was bedtime. My husband told me to try to get the twins to bed and he would keep on keeping on, what a great guy huh! Another hour later, our bedroom was 'sleepable' so we gathered our brood and headed to bed!

Since then we have pulled up the carpet, tried to dry the carpet and the pad. The pad is now gone, and the carpet is pretty much dry. Now we just need to decide what we are going to do come spring...because the carpet has got to go!!

As for the toilet...My wonderful husband bought a new wax seal, and removed the toilet, whole heatedly expecting to find a clog of some kind, but he found nothing...2 hours of snaking...nothing! He finally decided he was going to put the toilet back on. While picking up the toilet he heard a metal noise. There it was...jammed in the base of the toilet...a bracelet. Finally it was fixed! We have had happy flushing since!

So the lesson?? NEVER, NEVER, NEVER leave the bedroom door opened with Toddlers, always close the bathroom door & get good toilet locks they can't work!

Book Review - Save the Date

Publisher:
When Alex and Lucy pick out wedding invitations, they wonder if they can be printed in vanishing ink.

Former NFL star Alex Sinclair is a man who has it all--except the votes he needs to win his bid for Congress. Despite their mutual dislike, Alex makes Lucy a proposition: pose as his fiancee in return for the money she desperately needs. Bound to a man who isn't quite what he seems, Lucy will find her heart on the line--and maybe even her life. When God asks Alex and Lucy to scrap their playbook and follow his rules, will they finally say, "I do"?

What I thought...
I have really enjoyed this book! It the story of a young woman (Lucy) who wonders what is going to happen to her Girls home after she loses funding. She strikes up a deal with a Ex-NFL hero (Alex) who needs Lucy to get elected...Its kind of The Proposal meets Sweet Home Alabama...but with a Christian perspective.
Throughout Save the Date the "agreement" causes a roller coaster of emotions, not only between Alex and Lucy, but Alex and his brother, Lucy and Matt, plus her Grandmother and deceased Father she never knew.
Lucy finds her self surprised when the things don't turn out the way she assumed they would. Lucy seeks the Lord's guidance through the book...and finds her self surprised at who else is seeking the Lord as well!
At the beginning Save the Date talks about how Lucy runs a girls home for young women who have been in the foster care system, but are now 18 and have no where to go...expect Saving Grace. Saving Grace is a big part of this book and I really like that, all too often I read a book where the main woman is kind of a blur...who is she, does she have friends? a job? Jenny B. Jones did a wonderful job making Lucy feel like a friend! Alex...I actually really liked Alex from the beginning. He was rough and hard around the edges, but I knew something great was on its way! He's a twin, which I like, since I have twins.
Save the Date is funny, Witty, and keeps you wondering what is going to happen...all the while surprising you! I would highly recommend this book!!
ISBN: 1595545395
Page Count: 320
Retail Price: $14.99

Please note that I was given Save the Date for free from the Publisher in exchange for a honest review!

Its the little things...

Yesterday was hectic and busy...like most days. Yesterday was amazing and fruitful with my Children...like most days.

Last night I was laying with the twins trying to get them to sleep. Si had finally fallen asleep...on top of me...so we were tummy to tummy. He loves this. I must have started to doze off, because I suddenly jump. Si had hiccups. This made me smile and laugh out loud. You might be thinking "why, there just hiccups" but to me it is so much more than that.

While I was pregnant with the twins, I dealt with tons of emotions. During my pregnancy friend lost her baby at full term, another Mama lost one of her twins at about 30 week. I'll be honest I was afraid, these kinds of things have always scared me, the thought of losing a child is almost too much to bare for any Mother. On top of this, Si was not a big mover/kicker, which terrified me. At about 18ish weeks he settles in a place near my right hip bone and my ribs and stayed there until birth.

Gabbi on the other had was ALWAYS moving. Kicking me, punching me...you name it...she was wild!

Many times through my pregnancy, I didn't feel Si. A few times it was many many hours and I found my self praying: "please Lord, let me feel him" Every single time, I would start feeling a little popping near my hip...Si had the hiccups and I knew he was fine. The Lord, was always comforting me, always there for me, always telling me that He was and control!
Si right after he was born!

Si, started getting hiccups every single night...without fail. The Lord was always looking out for me. This created a huge connection between Si and me - and God and me. What a amazing Loving Father I have, knowing that his child was afraid...he comforted.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort," - 2 Corinthians 1:3

"Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever." - Psalm 136:2

"His love endures forever
Sing praise, sing praise
Sing praise, sing praise

Yeah
Forever God is faithful
Forever God is strong
Forever God is with us
Forever
Forever"

So Hiccups...I love hiccups:)

Giving Hearts!

Recently a young girl I know said "What ever happened to Chivalry?" she was meaning it in the way of "where is my knight in shinning armor." But it got me thinking...what happened to Women helping Women? I am blessed to have amazing friends who have been there for me in my time of horrible loss and pain. But I know that this is not true for all women. I have been horrified to hear how many women I know have gone through painful experiences with absolutely no support.

This brings me to the story of a young Mother. A few years ago she was married with a small daughter and another daughter due to be born in a matter of weeks. Her entire world came crashing down when they found out her full term daughter has passed away, for reasons unknown. Over the next week, she delivered and buried her daughter. Over next few years, she had very little support to help her through this horrible time. Things happened, life went wild...but, then she found out she was pregnant, and JOY took over. In Mid December she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl!! Elated to say the least.

I had a plan, to create a very special gift basket for her, so I set out contacting a few companies to see if they would like to get involved. Sadly many did not even respond. However, Some AMAZING companies did step up!

Sleepy Wrap
Earth Mama Angel Baby
and Bamboobies
also a few 'anonymous' donations came in as well!

I was thrilled by this! The fact that these companies wanted to bless a young mother they did know...the simple fact that she had been through so much touched their hearts!
This young mother was so overwhelmed, and could not believe why someone would care so much about her and her family...I fear many women feel this way. I believe that that can change...if we just put in a little effort!!
Now, on to the fun stuff! I would love to give props and recognition to these awesome companies! You are amazing!

SLEEP WRAP graciously donated a Beautiful Wrap in Beige - she LOVED the color!
From the Mama:
"this is awesome"
"I wanted one, but there was no way we could have afforded it"
"I love having her so close"

Look at how Proud this Papa looks!

EARTH MAMA ANGEL BABY donated from the depths of there hearts 'A Little Something for Baby'

A Little Something For Baby Includes:

Angel Baby® Lotion
Angel Baby® Shampoo & Body Wash

From The Mama:
"I have never heard of this, but I LOVE it!!"

BAMBOOBIES graciously donated a set of their Bamboo reusable nursing pads!

"Bamboobies regular nursing pads are
ultra-soft ultra-thin ultra-eco
Unique because they are softer and waterproof aka "milk-proof,"
Bamboobies are the new choice for breastfeeding mothers who
want a washable nursing pad that doesn't show through clothes."

"I LOVE these"
"The absorb more that any nursing pad I have ever used!"
"I love that they are heart shaped!!"

A fruitful spirit

I have been living for many years on a roller coaster of emotions...happiness, sadness, extreme anger and hurt, fear, and every other negative emotion. However, It is now 2011 and I refuse to allow this to continue to control my life and emotions for yet another year. This has turned me into a doormat, and made me be afraid of being who I am. I have been seeking God, asking God to help me in this.
The Lord showed me this:

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, Patiences, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

As a Christians I have read this many, many times. This time it was different.

Lord Please give me LOVE for those who, knowingly hurt to hurt. Draw them close to you.
Lord give me JOY in every aspect of my life. Help me focus more on the joy not the "I have to do's"
Give me PEACE, when I feel so unglued, and overwhelmed with life.
Bless me with PATIENCES Lord, when the day has been long.
Lord give me KINDNESS to friends who are seeking me to encourage them.
Bless me with the GOODNESS that I need to train my children in your Word.
Please give me the FAITHFULNESS I need when things seem so hard and out of control.
Bless me with the GENTLENESS of words when talking to my family, Children and friends.
And SELF - CONTROL Lord, help me to have self control when my mind start wondering and I become afraid.

Time to Pull some Weeds?

A few months ago I was talking with a dear Friend. She told me that she was so happy and was feeling really great about recent decisions she had been making. Knowing the personal trials she had been going through I couldn't help but ask about these decisions. She informed me that she had been 'Pulling Weeds'. Hmmm pulling weeds, but is winter...No, no, no not actual weeds. What she meant was 'friendship weeds' stepping back and looking at the friend relationships, and seeing which were thriving and which were 'dead'. This got me thinking...'I need to pull some weeds'.

I've heard it put like this...
If you are standing on a chair and your friend is standing on the floor,
What is easier? Pulling your friend up, or them pulling you down? Pulling down of course.

This is still very true. There are two kinds of friends: FRUITFUL & FRUITLESS

"The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray."
Psalm 12:26

The Fruitless:

"One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin..."
Proverbs 18:24

fruitless [ˈfruːtlɪs] adj *yielding nothing or nothing of value; unproductive; ineffectual*

These are those friends we all have, the ones who bring nothing to the relationship. They might complain a lot, belittle, judge, and never ask "how are you doing?" and really mean it. The conversation are always one sided...ever time. No uplifting conversation. These are the friend that my husband wishes I didn't have. When I get together or talk on the phone with them, he says afterwards I'm usually in a very bad mood..."Its like you have been pulled through the mud."

The Fruitful:
*bearing fruit in abundance*

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."
John 15:13

fruitful [ˈfruːtfʊl] adj
Wonderful, Godly, Compassionate, Caring, Beautiful...just a few word to describe a fruitful friend. These are the friends who are there for you no matter what...sadness, happiness, joy, pain, celebration, they are by your side. These are the kind of friends who will just sit in silence with you while you cry.

It's 2011 and I have pulled my weeds. I am happy and feel free of the burden that has been resting on my shoulders for many months and years. Now, I only wish that I have done it sooner.

At church I met two wonderful women. I have so much in common with each. While visiting with one, she told me that she had been meaning to introduce herself to me, but never had the chance because we were both always in such a hurry. This made me think, how often do we rob our selves of fruitful relationships because we are too busy?

From now on I choose Fruitful Friendships...How about you? Do you need to pull some weeds of your own?

Just a little 'fruit' for thought:)

What I thought...The twins have VERY sensitive skin, and regular disposable wipes often irritate their poor little bottoms. So I was thrilled at the opportunity to test out these awesome Bummas cloth wipes.
When I got them, I was so excited about soft they were before they had even been washed. After they had been washed they were SO amazingly soft and cuddly and I knew I was in love.
Clean up was made so much easier that I had expected. When changing a icky diaper with disposable wipes, I would take 4-7 wipes to get the twins cleaned...and even then I sometime felt like I needed to bathe them. Now, the ickiest of bottoms is clean with one...yes that's right ONE Bummas Cloth Wipe! It easy...either wet with warm water or add you favorite cloth wipe solution! Here is my favorite solution

Lavender Dream
1/8 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon baby shampoo
8 drops lavender oil
3 cups water

Stir or shake until this recipe is well mixed. Don't use until the mixture cools. Spritz on wipe before using if in spray bottle. Swish solution around over wipes if using a wipes box.

My Bee Recipe

  • Spending more time in the Word.
  • Getting up at 6am every weekday morning so I can have my personal bible study.
  • Daily Bible memory verse for Elias, he love his Jesus.
  • Computers off by 9pm every night.
  • More time with my wonderful husband...hence above:)
  • Nightly Pastor Bob Coy Radio Bible study with my Hubby.
  • Proverbs 31...enough said.
  • Train my children in the way the Lord wants.
  • Creating a spectacular 2nd half of the 1st/2nd grade school year for my little guy.
  • Spending more time with the friends who lift up, not the ones who drag down.
  • Having a more Calm and Relaxed home. More Joy and Thankfulness.
  • Play, Laugh and have more Fun with my Husband and Children.
  • Creating a monthly meal plan and making the meals before hand to freeze...aka simplify Dinner time.
  • Eat Healthier. We do already, but I want it to be even more.
  • Zumba five days a week. Fit THOSE jeans.
  • Read more. There are so many Great books that I so badly want to read...Like:
  • Leaving Carolina and Nowhere Carolina both by Tamara Leigh
  • Knit more. Teach Elias to Knit.
  • Sew more. Gabbi needs more dresses;)
  • Bake more. Create and try new and different things
To Stick to my Declarations & Resolutions I will be printing them out and posting them where I will see them every single day...I will not let these be "out of site out of mind"
Sticking to your Resolutions, Goals, Changes...whatever you choose to call them can be made easy by having a Husband or Friend to help you stick to them.
My Husband is awesome, always helping and holding me to my goals. When Elias was 18 months old I set a weight loss goal of 40 lbs in 3-4months...My husband helped me stick to it, and I lost 75 instead!!
Have a Blessed and Wonderful January 2011

Prayers for my Children...and yours too!

Praying for my Children is very important. They are the most amazing gifts that the Lord has bestowed upon me! Take the time to pray for your Children daily:)
The Bible is full of verses that show His will for all our Children!
Here are 8 great verses. Personalize them by adding your little ones names!
♥ That they would be "taught of the Lord" and great will be their peace (Isaiah 54:13)

♥ That they would hide His Word in their hearts (Psalm 119:11)

♥ That God would fill them with the knowledge of His will so they can walk in a way that’s pleasing to Him and their life will bear fruit (Col. 1:9)

♥ That their hearts would be flooded with light so they could understand the wonderful future God has promised to those He called (Ephesians 1:17-19)

♥ That they would trust in the Lord with all their hearts and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6)

♥ That they would not worry or be afraid but pray about everything, and the peace of God would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-9)

♥ That God’s favor would surround them like a shield whether at school or work (Psalm 5:10)
"For I know the plans I have for you,"says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. You will find Me when you seek Me, if you look for Me in earnest" (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

♥ Heavenly Father, Thank You Lord for my 3 blessings : Elias, Simon & Gabbi. Help me to be the Mommy and the teacher that You want me to be. Help us raise them to not know Your Word, but live Your Word! Amen
