Review - Bebe au Lait
When my older son was a baby...He would want to nurse and no matter where we were I would have to excuse my self and find a room, chair or whatever where no one could see me nursing. If I did stay in the room, it would be with my mom or my close friend Sharon...even then I would cover with a blanket. As you can imagine, I would get back from nursing and feel totally lost in what was going on and very left out. I began to hate going to friends and families homes because of this. It really sucked...as I am sure many of you know.
Along came the twins...:) I was ready to make sure this would never happen! I asked around to the very few Nursing Mama's of twins if they had any suggestions for nursing covers! 100% of the time I heard this " Hands down, Bebe au Lait or Hooder Hider"
What I think...
I recieved a Babe au Lait in Ascot for my review and I love it!
Having nursing twins you can imagine how excited I am to be doing a review on Bebe au Lait! I can't say enough about this cover! It is great for every possible situation you can think up! Sitting on the couch with friends...covered, Hanging out at a resturaunt with family...covered, Babywearing while shopping...covered! It is light enough to not bother my little ones but thick enough to keep them warm if it is a little chilly out! It even folds up and fit perfect in my ERGObaby carrier front pocket. The twins are both fully covered by the Bebe au Lait and they actually like it! Since they are a little older they like to pretend it is a tent, and honestly they play together under it when they are supposed to be nursing:) The Bebe au Lait is a fantastic size, it easily cover both babies.
Our family spends a lot if time in our Living room...that has floor to ceiling windows, that faces the street. Our street is by no means busy, but there are houses across the street. During the day I don't always want to leave the room when the twins are ready for nap time. Sometimes Elias and I are doing school or watching a movie. With the Bebe au Lait I can sit on the couch and nurse the babies while still playing with Elias. The Bebe au Lait truly is a win win in my book!

Review - GoGreen Pocket Diapers
![]() |
Featuring:
I'll be honest, cloth diapering can be expensive and cloth diapering twins is REALLY expensive. I mean come on, $17 - $28 for something that is going to be pooped in?? That is just crazy. When buying cloth diapers, I try to stick to the one size cloth diapers as much as possible, that way they will last until potty training and I will get the most for my buck. Even then we're looking at $17+ per diaper...ugh!!! Now, I know I am not the only one who feels this way. If I have heard it once I have heard it a dozen times "I CANNOT afford the start up cost to use cloth". This is just not fair. Recently the twins have out grown 50% of the diapers we have. The still fit the OS cloth dipes we have. Now I am looking to re stash that outgrown 50%...but we just cannot get diapers at $17 bucks a pop. That just isn't going to happen.
Let me introduce a breath of fresh air...GOGREEN POCKET DIAPERS! They are everything I love!!
One size...Check
Pocket...Check
Soft absorbent inserts...Check
Snaps...Check
Great fit on BOTH twins...Check
Cute...Check Check Check!!
But what is the price for this seemingly perfect diaper you might be asking...ok...are you ready??
$8.99 Did you catch that $8.99!! Could it be? Is it true?? YES, my friend it is!!
What I got to try...
I was thrilled to review GoGreen Pocket Diapers. I was given a Pocket Diaper in Crazy Evening print and a set of GoGreen Cloth wipes to try!
At first sight and touch, I knew I was in love! The diaper is bright, soft and oh so cute! But looks aren't everything are they. After doing a few prep washes to ensure the diaper would absorb as best as possible, then I put the diaper on Simon. The diaper is super stretchy, a fantastic fit over his chunky thighs, and not bulky at all! To put this diaper to the test, Simon aka 'the heavy wetter' wore it to bed. I couldn't wait for him to wake up so I could see how GoGreen Pocket Diapers stood up to my little guy. Wouldn't you know it, Simon slept in until 9am, so the diaper was worn from 8pm until 9am...NO LEAKING and not pressure marks...this is something that we have a lot with Simon chunky legs!! I was totally shocked, and oh so excited!
GoGreen Pocket Diapers come is tons of cute solids and prints, at their great price you can buy twice as many...darn:)
My Closing thoughts...
If you are looking for a fantastic cloth diaper at a great price, GoGreen Pocket Diapers are what you want! You will not be disappointed. These diapers have sturdy snaps, ultra soft lining, plush inserts and a beautiful silky outside. After a dozen washes the diaper looks brand new, the quality of the GoGreen Cloth Diapers is just as good if not better then my $20. Diapers. GoGreen cloth diaper will be my No. 1 diaper recommendation!! The wipes are fantastic, they are super soft and clean up the worst messes while keeping your baby's skin protected!
Additional information about GoGreen Pocket Diapers
1. Shipping is a flate rate of $5.00 per order so you can buy 1 or 25 and not have to worry about the shipping
2. They have a 15 day wash ‘n wear policy, which they describe as…”Use our diapers for two weeks and if you don't LOVE them by the end of 15 days, send 'em back for a full refund”. That is so great! I can't imagine someone not loving these diapers, but it is pretty amazing that they offer this!

ALSNS Review - Seven Everyday Sling
Seven Everyday Sling (front) In LUCKY PINK!
Loving the Seven Sling!!
Decorating
I was thrilled to review a Seven Everyday Slings carrier! Finally, I was going to see what I really thought. When I got my Seven Everyday Sling in the mail, I ripped open the package and quickly put it on and grabbed Gabbi. I was actually shocked at how comfortable it was, not because I didn't think it would be, I just didn't know what to expect. The Seven Everyday Slings use beautiful fabric, with just enough stretch! I love it! I used my Seven Everyday Sling while decorating for Christmas today. Gabbi was 100% comfortable and so was I, and I even felt like she was totally secure when I was slightly bending over. There was no back or shoulder pain, which is a huge plus for me. Now I'm proud to say that I am in love with my Seven Sling and I have 2 "Sling Riding Babies"!!!
We are both so happy with our Seven Everyday Sling!
97% Cotton 3% Lycra - making it comfortable to wear for both you and your baby- not losing shape over time.
When purchasing a Seven Everyday Sling be sure to measure correctly by using their sizing guide. I made the mistake of assuming that I knew what size I was without using the guide...and...yep you guessed it, I had to exchange it.
Seven Everyday Sling has 7 awesome prints to choose from. They are all bright and beautiful...and picking just one can be hard:)
The Seven Sling can be worn many different ways from birth to 35 pounds!
*This review is 100% my personal opinion. I was not persuaded by Seven Everyday Slings to write any part of my review. Seven Everyday Slings ONLY provided a Carrier for me to review, the article/review was written solely by me!

A Babywearing Black Friday...
My husband carried Simon in the backpack.
What a awesome Daddy my boys have!!!
I carried Gab on the front in the ERGO
Gabbi loves shopping with her Mama!
She loves her ERGO too!
We were stopped many times by people saying 'what a good Idea to use babycarriers' The twins happily waved and said hi to almost everyone they saw because they felt safe being so close. Gabbi even feel asleep. I am pleased to say that this Black Friday was fantastic. We got everything we set out to get, waited in lines no longer than 15minutes, drank Starbucks Peppermint Mocha's and ended the night having dinner with wonderful friends!! The only bummer was out of ALL the people, I saw many upset babies in their strollers, and only 1 young women with her baby in a Moby wrap. I hoped to see more babywearing mama's and papa's...maybe next year!

Yes! I am still Breastfeeding
There I was, visiting with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. While chatting on the couch one of the twins came up very sleepy, ready for a nap and wanted to nurse. I paused our conversation to grab a cover and get my little one situated. When I looked back up, my friend was wide eyed staring at me. I had seen that look before...the "Oh My Gosh she is STILL breastfeeding" I'm used to it, I was still breastfeeding Elias until after age 3. So, that look and me aren't exactly strangers. "What" I asked. She just looked at me a moment longer and choked out "You are Still breastfeeding?" I wanted to say "CLEARLY"...but I didn't;) I calmly responded "Yep I sure am" Thinking this conversation was over, I jumped back into what we had been talking about...only to be interrupted by this little gem "Do you breastfeeding both of them or just one?" Ok little side note: You might be surprised how often I get asked this question, and I ALWAYS respond with a smile "yes I breastfeed both of my twins" Even though on the inside I'm thinking...'Yeah, why would I only breastfeed one, that is ridiculous that you would even ask such a stupid question'. Back to my friend. I responded "yes I do, blah, blah, blah" I could see her getting more uncomfortable with every word. VERY quickly after I was done talking, wouldn't you know that she suddenly remember she was 'late' for 'something'. Hmm...really?!
Why is it so hard for 'OTHERS' that we breastfeed? This is very troubling to me. A mom can send her 12 year old daughter to school in a outfit that is shocking: no one says a word -a child can be heard yelling and cussing at their parent in the store: no on says a word- But WE quietly cover, or sneak away, words are spoken to us, and lots of them...not always nice either. Celebrities without children are openly giving there negative opinion. Because of this women who breastfeed feel like they aren't allowed to nursing in public, and if they do they had better be out of site or covered with a black fleece blanket from head to toe. I can just imagine the out burst said celeb would have had if she saw me tandem nursing my twin babies. I ask it again, why is this so true in our society? I don't have a answer. I have my opinions...People seem to want to have a opinion because they don't have control of their lives or because they are unhappy, maybe they are uncomfortable about breastfeeding in general...I don't know it could be so many different things. All I know is that I refuse to let ANYONE make me feel like I am doing something wrong because I have made the choice to breastfeed MY children. I love my children, I want to breastfeed and frankly if 'sally next door' is bothered by that, then she has a problem of her own. I will stand my ground and I hope you do too! I hate talking to a young mom who says she really wanted to breastfeed, but she didn't have any support. Us nursing mom's need to stick together and share our stories and tips with other mom's especially new 1st time mama's. So here's a challenge: We all have a friend, who is breastfeeding her baby or young child, right. She might be searching for someone to talk to...Toss a little encouragement her way!! Tell her that you are there for her. You will be thrilled with how it makes her feel and how it makes you feel. I know, because I did this recently with a women who goes to my church, it was so wonderful to see her sad face turn to joy! She later told me that she was about ready to give up, and was so happy I spoke up!
Be Happy Breastfeeding - I know I am and that's what matters!

Review - ERGObaby
![]() |
Featuring:

from ERGObaby:
Products to make babywearing safe, easy and comfortable – a Hands Free System with an all-in-one baby carrier that can be used in the front, back and hip position, infant to toddler

Babywearing is a part of our life...
I'm a babywearing Mama, my husband is a babywearing Daddy. We have been since our twins were born. It a few local stores we are known as the 'babywearing family'! We love it and wouldn't have it any other way. We started out wearing the twins in wraps. They were wonderful and comfortable. However, like babies tend to do, the twins got bigger, and bigger thus making our wraps no longer the most comfortable option. We knew that it was time to add something new! The twins LOVE to be carried on the front, they love to be close and hate riding in a stroller, so we knew we need to find the right carrier...and NOW! We tried everything, but nothing seemed to be right, everything we tried worked ok on the back, but the twins didn't like being on the back all the time, so if we switched to the front it was just...not the right fit for us and our life style. My husband complained about back pain and so did I. We couldn't help but think this was the 'babywearing end'. Then much to our surprise and joy a wonderful ray of light enter our lives...it is called ERGObaby!!
What I received...
A Fantastic Green ERGObaby Organic Carrier to review! It is beautiful!
When it arrived I ripped open the box, quickly put it on, added Gabbi, and my Husband took this photo: We had owned it for less than 5 minutes but I was in love!! :)
